Privacy Policy

We collect the information needed to provide and secure TraderMemo, including:

• Account details such as your name, username, email address and profile photo.
• Authentication information from your chosen sign-in method. When you use Google sign-in, we receive your basic profile, email address and a secure account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
• Content you add to TraderMemo, including trades, journal notes, portfolio records, screenshots, goals, checklists and preferences.
• Basic technical and usage information needed for security, diagnostics and reliable app operation, such as device, browser, session and error information.
• Messages and information you send when you contact us for support.

• Provide, personalize, synchronize and secure your TraderMemo account.
• Calculate journal, portfolio and analytics results you request.
• Authenticate you, prevent misuse and protect account access.
• Provide support, service notices and important account communications.
• Diagnose errors and improve the reliability and usability of TraderMemo.

When you use Memo, your prompt and relevant journal context may be sent to our AI service provider to generate the response you requested. AI Coach is designed to review your logged trading activity; it does not provide financial advice, predictions or trade signals. Avoid including information you do not want processed in an AI Coach message.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to operate TraderMemo, comply with law, protect users, or complete an action you request. Service providers may include:

• Supabase for authentication, database and account infrastructure.
• Netlify for app hosting and server functions.
• Google when you choose Google sign-in.
• OpenAI for AI Coach responses.
• Paystack when paid plans or purchases are available and you choose to pay.

These providers process information for their contracted service and under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of TraderMemo, our users or others.

TraderMemo uses Google account data only to sign you in, identify your account and display the profile information you authorize. TraderMemo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. You may export available records from TraderMemo and ask us to delete your account and associated personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.

You can update profile information in Settings, disconnect a linked sign-in method where the app offers that control, and manage information you add to your journal. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, object to or delete personal information. Contact us to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

TraderMemo is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. TraderMemo and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ.

We may update this policy as TraderMemo evolves. We will change the date shown on this page and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
